Johannes and Philipp Ballier

We know every jar.
From the apiary to the label.

Our beekeeping connects gardens in Kassel, Bergpark Wilhelmshöhe and the northern Hesse countryside. We look after our colonies together and keep each apiary’s harvests separate.

Honey with a known origin

One harvest year.
With a story of its own.

Flowers, weather and the surroundings of an apiary shape each harvest. Honey from the same place can therefore look and taste different from one year to the next.

We harvest each apiary separately, extract the honey carefully and jar it ourselves. The place and time of harvest remain traceable from the apiary to the jar.

How we work

In our hands.

Harvested separately by apiary

Each apiary’s harvest is kept separate.

Carefully processed

We take our time to extract and stir the honey with care.

Jarred by us

We jar the honey ourselves and label it with its origin.
